Ufuq Organization Within the activities of AIM and sponsored by the Norwegian People’s Aid, we held a panel discussion on “Minority Rights in International Law and Iraqi Legislation (Priorities and Challenges)”
In the presence of Iraqi deputies (representatives of minorities in Iraq), representatives of the Iraqi government, and activists working to promote minority rights
We presented at the session a review of laws affecting minorities in Iraq, whether in the Constitution, domestic legislation, or Iraqi obligations under international law
.A guide containing these laws was distributed to the attendees to discuss the priorities that it is hoped to work on
