With the support of IOM, training workshop for the authorities

With the participation of the Parliamentary Development Institute, Ufuq Organization for Development, with the support of the International Organization for Migration and the European Union, a consultative training workshop was held on 22-23 September 2022 on the policy of migration governance in Iraq and finding coordination mechanisms between the legislative and executive authorities, civil and international society to reach optimal legislative and procedural contexts for this file With the adoption of pivotal agreements between the relevant countries. This workshop targeted members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and representatives of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the Iraqi government represented by the Prime Minister’s advisor, a number of ministries of the federal government, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, in addition to the Iraqi and Kurdistan parliament’s advisors and civil society.
